St. Joseph's "Phillip the Van" ministry and Penfield Hope work in partnership to coordinate distribution of retail and other food donations to agencies with the most immediate needs.
Phillip the Van is on the road daily (including during the pandemic) picking up perishable and non-perishable food items from Wegmans and Target, then delivering them to Foodlink member agencies in the area and downtown.

The parish collects non-perishable food items on the first weekend of each month for delivery to our partners and for Penfield Hope.
