Online Support for Building Hope

Penfield Hope leadership is committed to making 1771 a permanent home for the benefit of our clients. Currently, we are reaching out to our dedicated supporters to join us in this effort. The immediate need:

• The end of the 2-year lease on 1771 Penfield Road is fast approaching in October 2023. The Hope Board has reached a purchase agreement with the owners.
• With a purchase price of $285,000, we are committed to raising $150,000 by September 1, 2023.
• With the funds raised, we can close on 1771 Penfield Road in October and keep the vital services of Hope flourishing throughout the very busy Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays seasons.

• 1771 Penfield Road (Route 441), as the current site of Penfield Hope, provides stellar visibility and accessibility for clients and the community.
• SInce moving from St. Joseph’s Church basement to 1771 in January 2022, the number of Hope clients served has increased 25% and client visits have nearly doubled (including many Ukrainian refugees since the start of the war in Ukraine).
• Our walk-through food pantry provides clients with dignity and the ability to make their own food choices for their families.
