Penfield Hope welcomes local residents and families to contact us when there is a need for food or other assistance. We do our best to encounter everyone where they are and encourage deeper dialogue to help determine how we can help not only with immediate needs but also broader financial and budgeting concerns.
Our goal is to walk beside each client on a pathway to housing and financial stability. Penfield HOPE is committed to a collaborative service approach and entering into client relationships that support the needs of families and individuals. We seek to provide an integrated response with referrals as needed to other resources and partners.
Our Hope volunteers are trained in a "ministry of encounter." Volunteer opportunities include working directly with clients, organizational and administative work, and facility maintenance.
Penfield Hope is a ministry of St. Joseph's Church, is affiliated with the Webster Hope Ministry, and is a member of Foodlink. Penfield Hope, Inc. is an independent 501c3 charitable organization.
